Films must be submitted in English or with English subtitles.

All films must have been completed after January 1st, 2024.

Films may be of any genre, including fiction, documentary, animation, or experimental.

Submissions are open to filmmakers from around the world.

All films must be submitted online via the official festival website.

Filmmakers may submit more than one film, but each film must be submitted separately.

Films previously submitted to the Las Vegas Director Awards will not be considered.

Films must not have been previously screened publicly in Las Vegas, NV, prior to the festival dates.

All submissions must be accompanied by a completed entry form and the appropriate submission fee.

Filmmakers retain all rights to their films. However, by submitting a film, filmmakers grant the Las Vegas Film Awards permission to use clips and stills from the film for promotional purposes.

Films must have a minimum duration of 5 minutes and a maximum duration of 180 minutes.

The festival accepts films in any format, but digital submissions are preferred.

Filmmakers must ensure that they have obtained all necessary permissions, including music and image rights, for their films.

The festival reserves the right to disqualify any film that does not meet the festival's technical or artistic standards.

Filmmakers are responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with submitting their films.
